How to Stay Centred
One-day Retreat

Saturday 30th September at Church House  10am-5pm   £35

 learn how to meditate or get back on track with your practice

A relaxed but purposeful day where you will learn how to ground a regular meditation practice that really works for you. Plus practical strategies that can restore your energy and sense of self when you're feeling overwhelmed and under pressure.

  • Still your body. Find physical ease. Dissolve the chemicals of anxiety and feelings of overwhelm.
  • Quieten your mind. Create mental calm with your breath. Deal with persistent thoughts.
  • Chase away the blues. Release the black clouds of negativity.
  • Connect with your soul and your own spiritual journey. Re-discover yourself and the things that really matter to you.

Learning meditation is best done with an experienced teacher in a small safely-held group, where you can share your thoughts and your experience and ask questions to increase your understanding.  To help you do this, the Saturday workshop is immediately followed by:
Weekly Integration and Practice Sessions throughout October (optional) to unpack the topics from the Saturday workshop over several weeks and to support you as you begin to establish a regular meditation practice on your own at home.
Wednesday evenings

In 2018, on-going Wednesday evenings for meditation practice and sharing will be held once a month with Kate if there are those who would like to stay connected and continue to reflect on their personal spiritual journey in the company of like-minded others in a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
